Can you continent?

A homeschooling snippet, honoring our 7 continents.

To the tune of "Ho-ho-ho-hosanna, ha-ha-hallelujah, he-he-he-he saved me!  I've got the joy of the Lord in me!"

"North and South America, Europe and Australia, Africa and Asia, the 7th one's Antarctica!"

As they sing, we point on the map and see if we can do it faster the next time.

We also made Africa spotted like a giraffe, Antarctica ice-cold blue, and Asia with a panda face on our printable map of the world.

Perfect for my 5-year-olds!

And the Continent Song gets whistled, hummed, and even accompanied on the piano or violin all day long.

A Moses morsel

He's sweet.  He's cute.  He's chunky.  He can sit, but not quite crawl.  He loves his brothers - especially Sam - and his doting (sometimes doting hurts!) sister.  He loves food (to the point of anger if he sees us eating - because he wants some too).  He knows his name (see video!).  He's a lovable ball of chub we don't know what we'd do without!  And he's just a few days shy of 7 months.

Yes, Mercy, he is a bit heavier than your baby dolls.

 Mo-mo and Jo-jo

Not inflatable arms.  This is "relaxed and happy".

My stars!

School's in session here, and the kids are excited about some new subjects we've got going.  Astronomy is a current big hit - we'll see how they feel in another few months!

The "minis", as we call them, hang out together while the rest do school.  They are both fairly laid back and happy to entertain themselves.  And their big brothers take several breaks throughout the day to read a book or sing some songs with them.
