We've been doing some summer math, and the workbook the boys have been plodding through is pretty challenging. Yesterday, we were in the car and Sam was struggling to finish up a page before we got to our destination. Caleb was actually coaching him along, having finished the same page earlier in the day. Sam finally came up with an answer.
"Oh, it's 18."
My response, having said it to every answer he came up with, was automatic: "No!..........Oh wait, yes Sam, that's right."
Sam: "Yes! Mom was wrong for once!"
The dad: "And it'll be another few years before that happens again."
Sam's immediate reply: "I can't wait!!"
